Taking life day by day. Finding a way to cure boredom. Discovering my career path one project at a time.

Born and raised in Nashville, TN being somewhat of a bad ass designer. My love for sewing was only a product of my love for the artistic lifestyle. For as long as I can remember I have practiced many medias of art from sculpting, drawing, painting, jewelry making, to any other hands on activities. The art world was (and still is) my primary outlet from suffering many years of depression, specifically Dysthymia (also known as Persistent Depressive Disorder). Having the kind of world view I poses is a blessing and a curse. The ability to see things differently; overall negatively have both hurt me and helped me in my art form. Once I realized that I was different and unlike the rest of the world I knew my unique vision could potentially be turned into a career of sorts. But where would I fit in?

Fashion design and its industry is something I never saw myself pursuing. In 2008 I began my practice by designing and selling dorky anime inspired fleece hats offering custom services on Etsy.com. On the side I was also teaching myself how to make evening gowns, tops, and even corsets (which is now one of my specialties). After many years of practicing basic, intermediate, and advanced sewing skills I enrolled to O’More College of Design located in Franklin, TN. My skills for design, sewing, drawing, illustrating, construction, and pattern making only became better over time. During my time at this school I achieved many personal goals and won awards for my skills. Now I am currently awaiting my senior year of college to begin my final collection.
